M&H Consulting has established itself as one of the leading companies in local transport and distribution in the Eastern Cape. We are confident that our services will not only meet the needs of your customers, but also help to provide value added services to your company on an ongoing basis.

VEHICLES

At M&H Consulting we own and operate 4 vehicles locally.  Our vehicles are all closed – curtain sided trucks. The drivers & vehicles are marked and registered for “HAZCHEM” loads. We have access to additional vehicles daily should we need them, to accommodate any overflow shipments. Our 3rd party suppliers can supply flat deck trucks to accommodate any bigger loads.

WAREHOUSES

We currently occupy office space at Swissport Cargo Services. Our offices are in Caravelle Street, Walmer. This means that our customers benefit from us being centrally situated close to Menzies, SAA Cargo and most of the agents’ offices. Our relationship with these handling agents enables us to draw and deliver cargo at more flexible times, benefitting our customers.

AREAS COVERED

We focus on local distribution, covering Port Elizabeth, Coega and Uitenhage. We also offer an airfreight alternative to other domestic destinations in South-Africa for last minute or urgent cargo.

Services

WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

Communication is to any business relationship. Our ‘one of kind’ on-line system will ensure that our customers stay informed in real time. Customers are able to receive POD’s as soon as shipments have been delivered. Our drivers are equipped with mobile tablets utelizing this technology to sign POD’s on the premises.

Air Freight

Our Air freight product is sold from all the major depots in the PLZ area. We offer daily express loads in and around the PLZ area.

Sea Freight

We offer LCL collections & deliveries from ICS PLZ, CHC PLZ, SACD, Grindrod & Zacpak.

Local Distribution

We have chosen to focus our vehicles in the PLZ, Coega and Uitenhage areas, enabling us to assist our customers at short notice.

Damage or Loss

Any damage or loss of cargo needs to be reported to us within 7 days of the delivery. Detailed documentation regarding the claim will need to be submitted to us within the 7 day period after delivery or date of incident.

Dangerous Goods

A “Trem” card is needed for transportation of any dangerous goods shipments. If M&H Consulting is not notified that a shipment is dangerous goods and an incident occurs, M&H Consulting will not be liable for any GIT claims or charges pertaining to the shipment in question.
